Once you have made the decision to remodel your kitchen, Boyce Kitchen and Bath will establish a payment schedule for you. The first step will be to order cabinetry and special order items. Generally, cabinetry will arrive in 3 to 4 weeks. After the delivery of the cabinetry, the demolition on the existing kitchen begins. The timeline and completion of the project depends on the size of the remodel.
If you have a smaller kitchen remodel, the average time for completion is 8 to 10 weeks. For larger kitchen projects, the timeline runs between 12 and 16 weeks. If you have started or completed any work of your own, such as painting and tile work or if you’ve employed your own electrician, that may alter the completion date of your project.

Estimated Timeline for a Small Kitchen
- Day 1: Demolition, haul away debris
- Day 2-3: Rough plumbing/gas, framing if required
- Day 4-5: Rough electrical
- Day 6-7: Drywall, patch
- Day 8-9: Paint
- Day 9-13: Installation of cabinetry
- Day 14: Measure for counter tops / fabrication about a week
- Day 15-17: Tile flooring
- Day 20: Installation of counter tops
- Day 21: Tile backsplash
- Day 22: Finished electrical
- Day 23-24: Trim out: hook up appliances, sink, hardware
Note: Larger kitchen remodels have the same procedure, but with additional construction involved. For example, walls, windows, islands, ceiling lights may have to be moved.
