Once you have made the decision to remodel your bathroom, Boyce Kitchen and Bath will establish a payment schedule for you. The first step will be to order cabinetry and special order items. After the delivery of the cabinetry, the demolition on the existing bathroom begins. The timeline and completion of the project depends on the size of the remodel.
If you have a smaller bathroom remodel, the average time for completion is 3 to 4 weeks. For larger bathroom projects, the timeline runs between 4 and 5 weeks. If you have started or completed any work of your own, such as painting and tile work or if you’ve employed your own electrician, that may alter the completion date of your project.

Estimated Timeline for a Small Bathroom
- Day 1: Demolition, haul away debris
- Day 2-3: Rough plumbing, framing if needed
- Day 4: Rough electrical, if required
- Day 5-6: Drywall, patch
- Day 7: Paint
- Day 8: Install cabinetry
- Day 9-11: Install tile floor, tile surround, etc.
- Day 12: measure for stone top and/or surround
Please allow one week of downtime for the fabrication of the stone. Once the stone is in, then the trim out work begins, which includes hooking up the plumbing, installing the shower doors, hardware and fixtures.
Note: Larger bathroom remodels have the same procedure, but with additional construction involved. For example, windows may need to be replaced or walls and shower areas may need to be moved.
